American Friends Of The Phelophepa Train

The American Friends of the Phelophepa train is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity whose mission is to provide American individuals, foundations and corporations with opportunities to contribute to the Phelophepa cause. The AFPT actively recruits new board members who are driven stakeholders in improving the wellbeing of rural South Africa. AFPT seeks to engage donors of all sizes through traditional and web-based media and Gala events and pursues grants from American philanthropic foundations. By 2010 the AFPT will provide consistent operational funding for the Phelophepa train through effective fundraising and the establishment of a charitable trust.
